Miki Kamijyo is the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at Asana Partners. Miki is responsible for legal, compliance and regulatory matters. She also serves on the Executive and Sustainability Committees. Miki has 19 years of experience focusing on alternative asset management, securities, corporate, real estate, and regulatory law. In addition to her legal responsibilities, Miki was previously Head of ESG at Asana Partners.

Prior to joining Asana Partners in 2021, Miki was Managing Director & Chief Compliance Officer at Annaly Capital Management, Inc. (NYSE: NLY), a publicly traded REIT, and has held various legal and compliance roles at several global asset management firms. She has also established and collaborated on programs in cybersecurity and data privacy. She began her legal career at K&L Gates and Ropes & Gray.

Miki earned a Juris Doctor cum laude from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia. She is on the Board of Directors at BraveWorks, a non-profit organization serving women and families in Charlotte and globally.
