Alexander T.H. Nguyen is a C-Suite executive and legal strategist with deep expertise in regulatory compliance, data governance, and risk management across biotechnology, cybersecurity, technology, and government. He most recently served as Chief Legal Officer and Head of Operations at UNITY Biotechnology (NASDAQ: UBX), where he led legal, compliance, and corporate governance functions while overseeing operations spanning clinical development, business development, and cybersecurity. Mr. Nguyen previously served in senior leadership roles at Roivant Sciences and its affiliates (NASDAQ: ROIV), where he built global compliance frameworks across more than 90 entities, implemented governance for data-driven drug development and commercialization and data analytics platforms, and oversaw regulatory readiness for multiple IPOs and spin-outs. Earlier, as a federal prosecutor and Deputy Chief of the Cybercrime Unit at the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Department of Justice, he investigated and prosecuted high-profile cyber intrusions, data breaches, pharmaceutical fraud, national security and terrorism matters, and insider trading, earning awards from the FBI and FDA. He also served as Assistant White House Counsel, advising on ethics, technology, and data policy, and later as a litigation partner at a technology law firm focused on data privacy and security. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Yale Law School and enjoys surfing, non-fiction books, and acrylic painting.
